Mockingbird Cabin in Hocking Hills.

Mockingbird Cabin is a multi-level chalet-style log cabin overlooking the Hocking River Valley. This cabin has a screened porch and an open, covered deck. Hot tub for viewing wildlife and relaxing. There is a comfortable Great Room to kick off shoes, relax and watch TV inside. A stone fireplace is a welcome retreat in the cooler months and a place to chat around the fire. And after a day hiking the trails, the luxurious hot tub will soak cares away. Outside there is a campfire ring to sit around and enjoy a fire. There is a screened porch overlooking the woods.

The driveway is pretty steep on this property. A four wheel drive or front wheel drive vehicle is needed during snowy months.

Reservation Requirements:

  • Minimum Booking Age: 25 years old.
  • Identification & Contact Info: A valid government-issued ID and full contact details are required.
  • Guest Presence: The person booking must be present at check-in and for the duration of the stay.
  • Renter Agreement: Guests must sign our Renter Agreement and upload a matching ID and credit card within 24 hours of booking.
  • Matching Info Required: The reservation name, ID, and credit card must all match.

House Rules

  • No Smoking or Vaping inside property 
  • No Parties or large gatherings
  • No Additional  Guests: Only guests listed on the reservation are allowed, with no exceptions due to insurance and local laws.
  • Quiet Hours: 10:00 PM – 10:00 AM (strictly enforced)

Rates & Fees

  • Standard Rate: $600 per night for up to 6 guests.
  • Additional Guests: $25 per person, per night.
  • Pet Policy: Pet-friendly with a fee of $30 + tax per pet, per night (max 3 pets).

Payments & Deposits

  • Reservation Deposit: 50% due at the time of booking.
  • Final Balance: Automatically charged 30 days prior to arrival.
  • Damage Deposit: A refundable $300 hold placed on your credit card 3 days before arrival. Released within 3 days after checkout if no damages or violations occur.
